Overview
The 1100 Series engine family is the successor to the very successful New 1000 Series. It has been inspired by and led by the future requirements of our customers to meet the needs of the construction, materials handling, agricultural/turf and genset markets.
Built to the most demanding standards, the 1100 Series engines meets all the requirements of both EC Stage 2 and USA EPA Tier 2 off-highway emissions legislation from 2004 and brings significant improvements over the 1100 Series highly successful predecessors.

- Surpassing even its highly successful predecessors, this exciting range adds up to 41% more low speed torque and 32% additional torque back-up depending on model
Cleaner and quieter
- The new timing gear train, cylinder block design and use of sound-deadened materials are just some aspects of reducing bare engine noise by up to 3 dBA across the speed range
- High quality filtration of both oil and fuel improves reliability and uses a disposable inner element for cleaner, simpler servicing
- Certified to emissions standards, these engines lower smoke to a point barely visible to the naked eye

- ‘Now designed for assembly’ simplified sub-assemblies, improved joint and sealing technologies enhance both reliability and durability
Ease of installation
- Minimising installation issues in machine changeover, envelope size and mounting points easily accommodate the update from earlier generation products
- Service intervals are now set at 500 hours as standard
- Fuel economy is improved by as much as 6%
- Warranties and Service Contracts
- We provide one-year warranties for constant speed engines and two-year warranties for variable speed models, as standard. These are supported by multilevel Extended Service Contracts that can be bought additionally
